In medical malpractice cases, it is possible in particular to claim benefits related to:<\/p><ul data-spread=\"false\"><li style=\"text-align: left;\">the cost of further treatment and rehabilitation,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">the cost of care for the injured person,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">the purchase of medicines, medical or rehabilitation equipment,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">lost income due to temporary or permanent inability to work,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">increased needs resulting from deteriorating health,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">an annuity in the case of long-term consequences,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">damages for pain, suffering and other negative consequences of the harm suffered,<\/li><li style=\"text-align: left;\">claims of close relatives in the event of the patient\u2019s death.<\/li><\/ul><p>In certain cases, it is also possible to claim damages for a culpable violation of patient rights.
